Brooklyn Nelson appeared on Broadway in Matilda the Musical

Brooklyn is originally from Huntington, West Virginia.  From her first show with First Stage Theater in the Little Mermaid Jr. she knew she loved acting, singing, and dancing.  She continued training and being in various community theater productions prior to auditioning for Matilda the Musical on Broadway.

Brooklyn started in Matilda the Musical on Broadway as the role of Small Girl Swing playing Lavender and Amanda Thripp.  Later, she played Amanda Thripp until the show closed in January 2017.  She recently played Young Elsa in Disney's Frozen the Musical in Denver, Colorado in its Pre-Broadway run and earlier played the role in a Developmental Lab for the same production.  In New York City, Brooklyn has also done voiceover and commercial work, had roles in films, and vocal performances, like singing the National Anthem at a New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden.  Outside of singing, acting, and dancing, Brooklyn loves to knit, play Minecraft, write stories, and make funny videos with her friends.
